Prediction:

68-61 UMass

Saint Louis plays extreme small ball with no starters taller than 6’7 which benefits their quickness on the perimeter and fast break. Look for the Minuteman, especially Malik Hines and Chris Baldwin, to continue their momentum against URI in the offensive rebounding category. The Bilikens lack a premier scorer or distributer of the basketball which explains their scoring troubles this season. Still, defensive efficiency will be a huge focal point as always and may be the decider if UMass struggles to find the range from the floor, similar to the previous contest. Overall, the Minutemen have faired well in these matchups against middle caliber A-10 teams and look for this trend to continue as Pipkins and Pierre get back to their usual antics.
